General terms and conditions
Fundamentals
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the relationship between Confiserie Bachmann AG and its online shop customers. They are the sole binding component of every contract concluded between Confiserie Bachmann AG and a customer. All amendments and additions to these GTC are only permissible in writing signed by all parties. These GTC govern the terms and conditions for the ordering and delivery of standard articles as well as custom-made products of Confiserie Bachmann AG and form an integral part of any contract between the customer and Confiserie Bachmann AG.
Conclusion of a contract:
The customer's order is placed electronically. The contract is concluded when Confiserie Bachmann AG sends the customer a written order confirmation by email or fax. The sale of products containing alcohol (wine, spirits, sparkling wine, etc.) to persons under the age of 18 is prohibited in Switzerland. The presentation of official identification may be requested at any time.
Changes to orders:
All orders are binding. Changes to orders on the part of the customer must be confirmed by Confiserie Bachmann AG. In the event of order revocation, there is no entitlement to a refund of the purchase price.
Terms of delivery:
Confiserie Bachmann AG shall not be liable in the event of undeliverability or delayed delivery of the goods as a result of incorrect information on the delivery address by the customer, absence of the recipient. The expected delivery times are only indicative. Confiserie Bachmann AG shall not be liable for delays in delivery through no fault of its own, e.g. due to force majeure, traffic congestion, bad weather conditions, etc., and they shall not entitle the customer to withdraw from the purchase contract or to claim damages.
Prices:
Unless otherwise agreed, all prices are in Swiss francs (incl. VAT) and are binding for the duration stated in the order confirmation. Confiserie Bachmann AG reserves the right to make price changes.
Terms of Payment:
Orders in the online shop must be paid in advance. The transfer must be received in the Confiserie Bachmann AG account within one week of the order, otherwise the order will be cancelled.
Control of the goods/complaints:
The recipient undertakes to check the goods for completeness and condition immediately upon receipt. Any complaints regarding quality and completeness must be notified to Confiserie Bachmann AG in writing immediately, but no later than within 24 hours of delivery, otherwise the delivery is deemed to have been accepted. Confiserie Bachmann AG shall not be liable for transport damage and damage resulting from improper storage of the goods after acceptance by the customer or his assistants. Return/exchange of products: Return or exchange of delivered products is excluded.
Data Protection:
The data necessary for the transaction will be stored and passed on to the company commissioned with the delivery as part of the contract processing. Otherwise, stored data is not passed on to third party companies with the exception of credit rating agencies and Shopify.com. The data is used and stored for customer care within Confiserie Bachmann AG. Order-related and other correspondence by Confiserie Bachmann AG may be sent electronically. Confiserie Bachmann AG expressly draws attention to the security risks inherent in data transmission by e-mail, which are beyond the control of Confiserie Bachmann AG, such as virus transmission, damage to data, loss of data or access by third parties. By placing an order, the client authorises Confiserie Bachmann AG to send documents and other data also by unencrypted e-mail.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction:
The contracts shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law, to the exclusion of the Vienna Sales Convention (CISG) and the Private International Law (IPRG). Any disputes arising in connection with the formation, interpretation and enforcement of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Basel.

Confiserie Bachmann AG offers the following shipping methods to choose from:
Shipping costs Switzerland / Principality of Liechtenstein:
– B-Post (Economy)
– A-Post (Priority)
The shipping costs are displayed in detail during the ordering process. Examples:
- B Post (Economy) up to 2kg - postage: CHF 7.00; packaging: CHF 3.50
- A Post (Priority) up to 2kg - Postage: CHF 9.00; Packaging: CHF 3.50
Order placement / delivery Switzerland / Principality of Liechtenstein:
- A Post (Priority): Monday to Thursday before 2 p.m.: Delivery within 3 working days. Friday to Sunday: Delivery Tuesday / Wednesday.
No delivery is made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; delivery is made on the next but one working day. The stated delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Our recommendation: Place your order early, if possible 4-5 working days before the desired delivery date. Before public holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Christmas), longer parcel delivery times must be expected. The shipping costs are calculated individually according to destination (delivery zone), shipping method and weight and are therefore only displayed before the order is completed.
